I brought over a hundred of these polyhedral agates home from my first trip to Brazil in the late 1990\'s. I had no idea, at that time, that they were nearly unique in the world and that the deposit would soon be flooded by the construction of a new dam. I\'m sorry I didn\'t hold on to them! This piece has been sawed off at the bottom and cut open on one end. The other 4 sides are as found. Few of these survive as many have been sliced to make unique agate pendants. 8 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm.
