This fine group of blue barite blades measures 4.9 x 5.3 x 2.5 cm. The front is perfect and the back has only a single blade cleaved. The feathery blades are pleasingly arranged and have great luster. The blades of this Spanish barite are thicker than the recent finds of blue barite from Morocco.
