This large spessartine garnet is NOT from Navegadora. This piece was bought by a friend of mine on a trip to Brazil in the 1970's. While it is not as nice as the Navegadora pieces, it has even deeper etching or growth lines than those pieces. This specimen measures 4.8 x 4.3 x 4 cm. I amd two movies to show all sides of this specimen.
