This wonderful tourmaline crystal from the Cruzeiro mine has a white chatoyant section two thirds of the way from the bottom. I believe this is where the crystal broke during formation and later regrew a termination formed from multiple crystals. The termination has a nice flat top in the form of a perfect equilateral triangle. The body of the crystal started out cranberry in color before transitioning to greenish. This piece has nice luster and no damage. A wonderful miniature measuring 3.8 x 1.3 x 1.1 cm and weighing 10.3 grams.
