It must have been fun to open this vug and find two yellow weloganite crystals hidden inside. The whole piece measures 4.5 x 3 x 3.5 cm. The weloganites are terminated and about 0.9 cm long. I like the way each crystal points in a different direction. Apparently many of these crystals came out some time ago, but I have not seen many of them collected recently. The quarry closed in 1981.
