You may be wondering why I did not stand this tourmaline upright. If you watch as it rotates, you will see that the bottom has been etched away and this piece is actually hollow! Unlike most specimens from this find, the bottom edges of the tourmaline crystals are actually faces, not just broken off. I like the chatoyant sides of this crystal as well as the light green gemmy cap. It measures 4.3 x 1.9 x 1.5 cm and has no damage.
