I believe the greenish-black inclusions in this light pink to lavender apatite are needles of actinolite. The main apatite (in front) is sandwiched up against another large apatite, which is broken at the bottom, but serves as a nice base. There is one ding on the left side of the main crystal, which is not visible from the front. The color on this specimen is light and varies somewhat in different lighting situations. But the structure is very well developed and specimens from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) are hard to get. This piece measures 3.5 x 3.3 x 1.7 cm.
