Genthelvaite and minor Quartz Huanggang, Inner Mongolia, China
Genthelvite is a rather unusual zinc beryllium silicate. This specimen is a nice aggregate of small crystals which form a ball alongside a many sceptered quartz crystals. The genthelvites are a red-brown and lustrous. In good shape, and maybe/almost a float as the bottom is all crystallized. A full thumbnail at 2.7 x 3.5 x 1.5 cm.
