Herkimer Diamond Mines, Newport, New York

This 3.5 cm tall Herkimer "diamond" has a 1.2 cm phantom inside. I have seen Herks with inclusions before, but none so beautiful as this one. I always thought the Herkimer diamond mines on route 28 were in Middleville, but the are actually in the town of Newport, NY.
