I found this aquamarine in a small pocket about the size of a softball. When I first opened the pocket, it was full of very fine mica dust. I carefully cleaned the poccket out and was disappointed to find out it was empty. But then I noticed a loose piece of feldspar on the bottom of the pocket and a lot more mica dust underneath. I used a screwdriver to carefully lift some of the mica out...and like a periscope rising up out of the sea came this exceptional aquamarine. I could not believe it! I also found a very small cluster of columbites in the pocket. What a day!
