Item #5070
$ 800
Shigar Valley, Skardu, NA, Pakistan

A very unusual 12 cm long aggregate of lustrous schorl crystals! Each schorl (up to 3.5 cm long) consists of a bundle of parallel subcrystals giving the prisms a silky appearance. Many are doubly-terminated with one pole having no common subcrystal terminations (a ragged appearance) while on the other pole they form a coherent, specular trigonal pyramid. There is no apparent damage to this rather delicate specimen.
