Item #10152
$ 85
Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico

This is an unusual calcite from Charcas both because of the color and formation. The calcites are gray but some are coated in a yellowish green encrustation. They are arranged from smallest to largest in two distinct groups of triangular flowers. They remind me of hematite rosettes. There is some edge damage, but overall the piece is in nice shape. It is a large hand to small cabinet specimen and measures 12.5 x 7.5 x 3.0 cm.
